Hi Ho Hi Ho...

It's off delivering lamb cake kits we go...  This tradition of baking lamb cakes and delivering the kits (frosting, green coconut grass, jelly beans) was one that John's mom did years ago.  And I love carrying on this tradition.  We missed Easter this year, and I am trying to make up for it by celebrating Orthodox Easter.

Stay tuned for pix of decorated lambs...

I had never heard of lamb cakes until I moved to the midwest. They are super cute, though! Maybe I'll have to make one next year...

We had a pan like that growing up. It became Rudolph at Christmas with pipe cleaner antlers & a cherry nose.
Then my Mom decided to get rid of it without asking me or my sister if we wanted it! I now have a newer type one bought at a thrift store but,oh, SO not the same!
Traditions are a good thing!
