This Sloan Travel Bag is for Jenny - she has had an Aeroplane bag of this fabric, and she was pretty thrilled that I was able to locate some more of this fabric to upgrade her 5-year old Aeroplane bag. 

This Sloan Travel Bag is for my stepdaughter Jen's 50th birthday.  The fabrics are a charm pack from Zen Chic Moda's Luster line.

High Expectations. But...

This is what I have to show for my weekend of sewing. I had such high expectations since I spent much of last week doing the prep work for 12 purse kits. These are my only finishes - one teal Trail Tote, one Sew Powerful purse, and three key wristlets. However, I did do bits and parts of the other kits. So perhaps this week I might be productive. I'm also eager to restore some kind of order to the studio and work on my medallion quilt, too. Busy hands are happy hands!

Key Wristlets and Paper Piecing

These key wristlets were demoed at the September CMQG meeting and are addictive to make. 

There are now two 12" blocks of six completed from Amy Garro's Paper Pieced Modern.  

This quilt top is on its way to Terri and Frank's to be long-armed.  More about this later...
